10 Years! Hellmann Costa Rica celebrates Anniversary

Hellmann Business Services Costa Rica recently celebrated its 10 years anniversary and our staff, some of which have been here since day one, proudly display their Hellmann Blue for a group photo.

On September 1, 2007, Hellmann opened the doors in Costa Rica to provide a back office accounting department for Hellmann USA. They started with 40 people but within the year had grown to 75. All accounts payable for Hellmann USA, General Ledger Accounting, and some miscellaneous accounts receivable processes were the first to move to Costa Rica.

Over the next years the processes and the team grew, and today, the team is over 100 people with a service catalogue that includes collections, a full accounting department, as well as many logistic functions: track and trace, billing, master data management, quality functions, and insurance functions for Hellmann USA and miscellaneous functions for the Americas Region. One of the four Global Netting Hubs is also based in our Costa Rica office.
