Team Hellmann UAE rode with over 2,000 cyclists from all over the world in the Middle East’s biggest Cycle Challenge organized by Spinneys. Many cyclists taking part in the UCI Gran Fondo Category also participated in this fitness challenge making their way to be qualified for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championship. The event consisted of four build up rides (BUR) which increase in distance each time to get cyclist prepared for the 92km cycle challenge, happened to be the longest route so far this season. In its ninth year the junior cyclists also had the opportunity to be a part of this huge event. The organizers of the event designed rides for 6 – to 15 year olds, timed 2.5km, 15km and 30km.
